Halo 3 tops sales of £84 million

Sales of Halo 3 has topped sales of £84 million in it’s first full day of sales, Microsoft has said.

A record has been set by Halo 3 for the most earned amount in one day by a video game. More than four million online games have been logged in the last 24 hours, with more than 1 million players.

It has been said that a number of people have recieved scratched discs that will not work, and Microsoft are offering to replace them for free.

The replacement is said to take up to two weeks for delivery.

Hundreds stood waiting for the midnight release in stores in the United States, most of which hardcore gamers.
