Make your e-mail come to life
There are a few programs out there that can really make your e-mail come to life. There are some programs that can allow you to theme your e-mails, and get cool little notifiers when you get new e-mail, in the shape of a waiter with a piece of mail to be served or with a dog barking and jumping around your screen.
Others can turn your e-mail into people, walking round a holiday resort, swimming in a pool or sunbathing. The purpose of this blog post is to explore these programs in greater detail, although some parts of them cost money, and need some knowlegde and understanding of the internet and sometimes graphics to set them up.
These programs include something called IncrediMail, which I was introduced to by my grandparents. Since they have became more active on the computer they have learnt to send e-mails, and I think that their tutor introduced them the free program called IncrediMail (although some sections of the program cost money). This is where you can themes such as flowers, colours, business related stuff, cats, dogs, pets, animals, wildlife, nature etc. to send out in your e-mail, and the notifiers which will appear on your screen when it’s your moment in the limelight and some has actually e-mailed you! No wonder the dog gets so excited (just kidding
)
The other program I was talking about is something that is called 3D Mailbox, where your mail will be checked by a virtual security guard to make sure it is not spam, then it will swim in the pool until it has been read. It will then bathe on a sunlounger until you delete them or something, and spam are fat ugly sumos that get eaten by sharks on the beach. Really cool but requires a good graphics card and can get a bit boring after a while. A bit of a gimmick some time.
For other cool e-mail programs I suggest that you check out Google, or just ask what other people use. I suggest you give them a try!
